Jakarta, April 30th, 2025 – PT Assemblr Teknologi Indonesia attended attended CDT Talks #1, a thematic seminar organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, titled "The Future of Learning: Immersive Technology in Indonesian Classrooms."
The event is taking place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the 4th Floor of Graha Tama Building, Pusdatin Kemendikdasmen, with its tagline of "Connecting Ideas, Empowering Digital Education," that aims to become a space of discussion to broaden horizons, encourage innovation, and strengthen collaboration between educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders as a form of participation in supporting the digital transformation of education and building a learning ecosystem that is adaptive to technological advances.
This first edition of CDT Talks has also become the official launching moment for the collaboration between Assemblr EDU, a 3D/AR-based immersive education platform, and the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the availability of special access and benefits to Assemblr EDU for Belajar.id users.
In his speech, Head of the Data and Information Technology Center, Yudistra Nugraha, S.T., M.ICT Adv., said, "CDT Talks is not only a data and technology center, but also a center for collaboration and universal participation. Quality education can only be realized with cross-sector synergy—from startups and industry to academics and the wider community."
Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel, Prof. Nunuk Suryani, also expressed her appreciation for the realization of this collaboration. "Education can no longer be separated from technology. However, this transformation will be more meaningful if accompanied by the presence of competent and adaptive teachers," said Prof. Nunuk. She also emphasized that the presence of technology is not to replace the role of teachers, but to strengthen creativity and innovation space in the learning process in the classroom.
Hasbi Asyadiq, the Founder and CEO of Assemblr EDU, also had the opportunity to attend as a guest speaker. Hasbi said that the importance of education is how to ignite students' motivation to learn, because in this era, children tend to be more easily distracted, and teachers face a big challenge to be able to attract their attention. Therefore, a new approach is needed in learning activities.
“Good education is not only about delivering material but also about igniting students’ motivation to continue learning. Assemblr EDU provides teachers and students with the tools needed to deliver fun and creative learning,” said Hasbi.
He continued, “We believe that innovation does not have to come from Silicon Valley, because this time we are building it together with teachers, for all teachers and students in Indonesia. This time, the innovation comes from Indonesia. Our team is in Bandung; we are Indonesia. This is our contribution to Indonesia; hopefully, it can provide the greatest benefit for the advancement of education in the nation.”
Through this collaboration, teachers with the domains @guru and @pendidik can now access various special features on the Assemblr EDU platform for free until February 2028. These features include a 3D object library, digital teaching aids, material storage space, a 3D editor, and the ability to create immersive and interactive Augmented Reality (AR) experiences. Various exclusive training and activities related to the use of technology in education for educators will also be held in stages.
The event also featured Khamidah (Assemblr Certified Educator) and Content Creator Teacher, who shared good practices on the implementation of immersive technology in schools, as well as an interactive session of discussions and games with participants. Khamidah shared her inspiring experience in implementing augmented reality (AR) technology in the classroom.
Through this collaboration, Assemblr EDU is hoping to be able to provide sustainable benefits to the wider community in the field of education in Indonesia.
“Since it’s beginning, Assemblr’s core principles and values are to bring the benefits of (AR) technology to as many people as possible, and one of the way we can achieve this dream is through this collaboration with the Ministry, to bring and introduce Assemblr EDU to teachers and students through their extensive reach.” - Hasbi Asyadiq, CEO & Founder of Assemblr EDU.
