Catch on the latest updates and insights about the Assemblr ecosystem, immersive technology, and EdTech industry—all in one site.
As a Physics master's student in Sriwijaya, Helen, one of our Indonesian ACE members, was honored to bring Assemblr EDU to the international market.
Her moment as one of the representatives chosen for a scientific visit to the University of Technology Malaysia, is the vessel that empowers her.
Along with the other 100 participants who came into the event, Helen came in not only to join as an attendee—but also became one of the students who presented her research in front of international students such as South Korean and Malaysian.
“I actually presented AR implementations in the classroom. It’s an impressive experience as it’s my first time sharing my stories right in front of international students. Of course, I’ve had an opportunity like this online. But now that it’s offline, it’s totally different,” she continues.
As she presented her research with AR experiences using Assemblr EDU, all the participants got engaged and interested to find out more. All the language barriers meant nothing since everyone got the spark to learn.
Talking about the language barriers, she had quite an interesting episode. She shares, “There’s this Korean friend asking me about Assemblr EDU, but I got flustered since I can’t speak Korean. Luckily, my Malaysian friend helped me translate everything. So, it’s all set!”
Her journey with Assemblr EDU doesn’t stop there. Due to its uniqueness, she was invited by her lecturers to present Assemblr EDU to the bachelor students. “Thanks to Assemblr EDU, I also got involved in Science MGMP with my lecturer and was also chosen as the participant of QTEP in Science SEAMEO,” she shares.
Everything that Helen does is simply her earnest diligence to keep on learning and trying. “I always write, so make sure to always write any stories about our experience. Write to motivate, research something interesting, especially in the midst of the 21st century,” she ends her story.
